Memphis, TN. November 11, 2013… Long-time worship leader and Memphis native Jeremy Horn releases his third full-length album, No Other Love, through Ardent Records now available digitally on Amazon mp3, Itunes, and other digital service providers and also on cd from the Ardent Records web store (ardentrecords.com/store).
From the infectious intro of “Awake” to the finale’s intimate outro of his own rendition of the cherished hymn, “I Surrender All”, Horn’s self-produced project is his best to date. The 11 track set features songs co-written with songwriting heavyweights Matt Armstrong, Rusty Varenkamp, Stuart Garrard, among others. The record also includes the powerful “I Stand Amazed”, capturing the essence of the album’s message, while “Your Glory Is My Fire” features Horn and Josh Maze (worship pastor of Memphis’ Highpoint Church) on writing duties, as one of many standout tracks.
Recorded live with a responsive audience, No Other Love captures Horn’s passion and conviction through every song, and his love for the Savior. Each layer of soaring guitars, signature melodies, and reverent lyrics: “I am weak but You are able / I have failed but You are faithful / Jesus You are holding on to me” and “King of Heaven in Earth who is like You? /God of unending worth / Who is like You?/ In mercy rain upon us” testify that his mission to “create singable and playable songs for the church” has been accomplished.
Leading worship has been an integral part of Horn since he was fifteen years old and his zeal to serve with his musical gifts soon led to his role as the head worship pastor at Christ the Rock Church in Memphis, serving a church family who consistently supports his calling in ministry. No Other Love is an engaging, Spirit-led experience of the Hope and Love that he has always known and represents a true reflection of his own heart towards Christ, his family, the church, and the world.
